I signed up for a class online, but haven't received my tickets. Where or when do I get them?
Sometimes PayPal says you will receive tickets for admission. Please disregard this. We will sign you in by your registered name.
What if I am not artistic?
This is our most frequently asked question. Please don't worry, we break everything down step-by-step using simple shapes so that your painting will slowly transform into the final product.
Are tickets refundable or transferable to a different date if I can no longer attend?
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
Participants that do not attend class that day forfeit their spot and understand their ticket will not be refunded or transferred to a different class. We use the money from each ticket to purchase all materials you need for this particular class. Often, these materials are often specific to this design and may not be able to be salvaged or reused for another design. For this reason, we are unable to refund or transfer your spot to another class.
Where is your studio located?
.We are a mobile paint party company. We have frequent classes all over town and also provide private parties where we come to you! Click here for more information about private parties or classes around town.
How far out do you travel for a private party or event?
We travel up to an 45 minutes radius from Brockport, NY, We are happy to come to farther distances; however, the minimum number will increase to compensate for the additional gas and time driving.
How far in advance do I need to book a party?
The earlier you book a party, the better chance of our availability. The recommended time to book a party is approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the desired date. During the holiday season we book up fast and recommend you book us at least one month in advance. The final count of the number of guests should be provided one week before the party in order to ensure all materials are available (some unique crafts such as umbrella painting may require a final count 2-3 weeks in advance).
What happens if our numbers drop after we have given our final count?
Unfortunately, since the requested crafts are specific to your respective party, you will be charged for the entire amount even if all materials are not used. Unused materials are yours to keep (such as wine glasses, canvases, bags, etc); however, all equipment and materials used to run classes such as paint, brushes, aprons, palettes, etc. will remain with Vino & Vernici.
Is the paint that is used washable?
Normally acrylic paint is NOT washable; however, the paint can be removed if Murphy's Oil Soap is applied to the stain that night.
What do the hosts need to provide for the paint party?
Not much! All we need from the hosts are tables and chairs that are already set up along with a sink so we can fill up our water buckets.
Do you provide materials to protect the tables?
We provide a black 9" x 12" place-mat for each of the guests to paint on. If you would like to put down a table cloth for more protection, you are more than welcome to do so.
Do hosts get to paint for free?
In order to keep our prices low for your guests, hosts need to pay in order to paint with the group.
How are the costs for the public classes around town broken down? It doesn't add up.
For every ticket (normally $36.50, excluding the palette classes due to higher costs),
Vino & Vernici charges $25 per person (unless the materials are more expensive like the wooden palettes)
Each venue receives $10 per person as a rent fee,
Pay Pal fee is $1.50
Other information:
Please note that we are not responsible for any damage to any equipment such as tables and chairs or to any floors during a party. Paint rarely spills and is easy to clean up on hard wood or tiled floors. Carpet can be tricky, but we will do our best to get it out at the time of the spill.
